Toshima is an island famous for camellias, Saku lily, seaweed and Ise-ebi lobsters. The beautiful conical island is covered with red camellia flowers during February and March. During the summertime, Saku lily flowers are in full bloom. Salku lily is the world's largest lily and grows as tall as a man.

>Mt. Miyatsuka
The 508-meter conical mountain can be reached by a well-kept trail called "Miyatsuka-yama Kyoboku Meguri No Michi (Mt. Miyatsuka / Big Trees Trail )." The Izu Peninsula, Mt. Fuji, and even the Boso Peninsula (sometimes on clear days) can be seen from the top of the mountain.

>Minamigayama Park
A panoramic view of Niijima, Shikinejima, Miyakejima and Mikurashima can be enjoyed on clear days in this park located on a south hill of the island. The park was chosen as one of the New 100 Views of Tokyo. It features a lawn square, an observation deck and a kitchen garden. It is also a perfect place for star gazing during the period from autumn to winter.

>Saku Lily / Camellia Trail
A Saku lily field and a camellia orchard stretch around a small village located up from the port. This trail is designed for people to stroll through this area. The majority of Saku lily flowers are of Sakuyuri Shin-toshima, a cultivated variety developed from the native species. The best time to view the world's largest lily is early summer.

The website of Toshima Village Office offers information on accommodation on the island. You are requested to call the minshuku (a Japanese-style B&B) of your choice directly to book your room. (Since there are no bilingual staff members at B&Bs in the island, please contact in Japanese)
