Aogashima Island, one of the “13 strange and beautiful Japanese islands you must visit” introduced on a foreign newspaper

2018.9.14|Aogashima

Last year, Aogashima was introduced as one of the “13 strange and beautiful Japanese islands you must visit” in the Telegraph newspaper, UK. This small island is part of Tokyo, but bears the title of “the village with the smallest population in Japan.” The island is a double caldera, which is rare even in the whole world, attracting worldwide attention with its magnificent landscape. The beautiful starry night sky should also attract many visitors. Come and visit this solitary island far off in the ocean – which is still part of Tokyo.
