Miyakejima Island, one of the “13 strange and beautiful Japanese islands you must visit” introduced in a foreign newspaper

2018.9.14|Miyakejima

Last year, Miyakejima was introduced as one of the “13 strange and beautiful Japanese islands you must visit” in the Telegraph newspaper, UK.

This beautiful island entirely belongs to Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Mount Oyama, a symbol of the island, is an active volcano part of the Fuji Volcanic Belt. The diverse and magnificent volcanic landscapes all around the island are just like a natural museum of volcanoes. The unique land features created by the volcano expand even into the ocean, providing a popular diving spot unique to Miyakejima. Visit Miyakejima to feel the earth as a living entity with your whole body!
