Let’s go see early-blooming camellias! “Tsubaki-hana Garden,” an International Camellia Garden of Excellence  


Camellia, “tsubaki” in Japanese, a beautiful flower representing Oshima, has a long blooming period and late-blooming varieties blooming in autumn. “Tsubaki-hana Garden” is a famous place for beautiful camellias, which has been recognized as an International Camellia Garden of Excellence! You can see Japan’s earliest-blooming camellia, yabu-tsubaki. The huge park has a lawn space with a view of Mount Fuji as well as some facilities, including Usagi-no-mori where you can play with rabbits. Leisurely enjoy the tranquil time of autumn on the island while looking at flowers and scenery without having to do anything.
