“Summer Milky Way” flowing through the sky! A panoramic view of starry sky at Aogashima

Have you seen the Milky Way? You can get a great view of the starry sky from every island of Tokyo, especially from Aogashima, aka “Ark of stars.” From the island, the Milky Way which is invisible from urban areas is clearly observed on a clear night without moonlight. Oyama Observatory Park with a 360-degree panoramic view is one of the best places in the Tokyo Islands to view the starry sky. This year, visit Aogashima and see the Milky Way for the Star Festival. Visiting Aogashima is not that easy, so make sure to reserve a helicopter and accommodation.
