Enjoy a leisurely tour at the zoo in Oshima

Tokyo Municipal Oshima Park Zoo is a natural zoo where the animals live freely. The huge site contains one of the biggest monkey mountains in Japan, which is made with naturally congealed lava, spaces where Barbary sheep are freely sunbathing and ring-tailed lemurs are playing, as well as one of the biggest flying cages in Japan, where flamingos, mandarin ducks, and peacocks are flying around, and Nakayoshi Hiroba (Friendly Plaza), where lesser pandas are welcoming visitors. The zoo is trying to breed some rare species, such as Aldabra giant tortoises and nene (Hawaiian goose), and some protected species, such as Japanese wood pigeons. At this zoo free from savage animals, you can spend a relaxing time and feel comforted.
