Herbarium? No, it’s called “Beacharium”!


The Niijima Tourist Office has started offering a new hands-on workshop, “Beacharium-making class.” Using small pieces of colorful Niijima glass created from the island’s specialty Korga stone (a type of rhyolite) and beautiful seashells and stones from beaches in Niijima, you can make your own beautiful bottle. Join the class to create a great memory of Niijima.

Fee: 2,500 yen (tax included)
Venue: Food court on the 2nd floor of the Niijima Port Passenger Waiting Place
